Choosing a school for a younger child? The Independent Schools Show is the one built around school choice, though it leans towards UK boarding schools. For UAE schools, open days and tours are still the best option: see tours and open days.
Child in the last two or three years of school? Najah, GETEX and the Global Education Expo are university fairs. They are free, and worth a visit in Grade 10 or 11, before applications start.
